HANDLING
Each KUI Co. jewelry is handcrafted and fragile.  It is delicately created as an extension of your essence and beauty. Please handle with gentle care.

To care for your jewelry and keep it clean and ready to wear, gently wipe off excess make-up and skin oils after each wearing. Store them in jeweler's tissue or a soft bag.

WARNING
We’d like to share some guidelines below to help you care for your jewelry.

• Avoid knocking or dropping your stone as they are fragile and easily cracked or scratched.
• Put Jewelry on after applying makeup. Hairspray, perfumes, cosmetics and lotion can contain chemicals which will permanently damage your jewelry. 
• Remove jewelry prior to bathing, swimming. Chlorine can discolor jewelry and affect the lifespan of jewelry.
• Besides chlorine bleach, denatured alcohol, turpentine, acetone, and ammonia can cause harm. These chemicals can dull or even pit the surface on softer gemstones. Petroleum based products can do significant damage to pearls.
• Remove jewelry prior to exercising and other physical activity. When we perspire, it can cause corrosion of the gold or metal glue we use for beading, especially when exposed to warmth and air. This problem can be worse in seacoast and semitropical areas, where chlorides combine with perspiration to form a corrosive element that discolors skin. 
• Smog fumes gradually attack jewelry and are evident as a tarnish that rubs off on the skin.
• Please keep out of reach of small children.

CLEANING
Our jewelry is made from natural organic materials. Clean with mild soap, warm water, rinse well, and polish with a soft cloth. Please refrain from using abrasive chemicals, jewelry cleaners, and/or toothpaste to clean them.

Although Gold Filled jewelry will not tarnish, it will get dirty. The oils from your skin transfer to the metal and need to be washed off periodically. The easiest way to care for it is to scrub it with an old soft toothbrush and a mild dish washing liquid. Rinse it well and lay on a towel to dry. Be sure it is completely dry before storing.
